With GSM cellular technology - you no longer need a landline phone for your alarm to be monitored. It is a safer alternative because you will be protected against your phone lines being cut. You can also add additional features such as being able to arm and disarm your alarm system from your smartphone and get text notification when the system is armed, disarmed, or if there is an actual alarm. (Additional monitoring charges will apply for extra features.)

 

You can never be sure which door or window a burglar will come from

To properly protect your home or business you should have every door and window covered by an alarm contact or transmitter!! For example, if your home has three doors and fifteen windows then you need to have an alarm contact on all three doors and fifteen windows total of 18 contacts and we urge you to confirm this fact with your local police department.  If a consultant from any company tries to tell you different think hard before hiring this company!

 

A motion detector is often offered as coverage but the truth is that this cannot be used when you are at home moving around! It is to be used in addition to alarm contacts/transmitters, not as a replacement. However, it is important to have interior protection such as motion detectors and/or glass break detectors because if a window or door is broken and not open the alarm will not go off if you do not have motion detectors or glass break detectors.  It is important to protect your whole home or business.
